Amazon.com – Read eBooks using the FREE Kindle Reading App on Most Devices
You know, I thought I would never give up my hardcover or paperback books! Well, I still love the feel of a book in my hand, but what I HAVE given up is lugging my books with me when I’m traveling, consulting, or just getting away for a weekend. You will LOVE the freedom of carrying your favorite books with you without the weight or inconvenience of multiple books. I always look for a Kindle Store version when I’m buying a new book, now!
Oh, and you don’t need to have a Kindle device to use the app. I can access my Kindle book versions on my phone, tablet, or computer. Such a timesaver (and back saver!).

Kindle Unlimited Membership Plans
*Unlimited reading from over 1 million ebooks *Unlimited listening to thousands of audiobooks *Read on any device *Membership plans are also giftable
I’ve been subscribed to a Kindle Unlimited Membership for about 2 years now. The way this works is that you can have 10 books “out” at a time and you get to choose which audio or eBooks you want from their vast library! When you want a new book to be available in your library, just add it. If you already have 10 titles in your library, return one or more to make room for your new picks! I love having these choices! I think you will, too!

FUN LIFE-LONG LEARNING!
So many books and so little time! “Blinks” are a distillation of the key points of thousands of non-fiction books. The Cliffs Notes of Cliff Notes! The Blinks are produced by a team of editors who identify the key takeaways from each book that you can read on your SmartPhone, tablet, or computer. Many of the blinks are available as audio blinks — so again, you can read or listen to the blinks while you are waiting for an appointment or walking the dog.
I subscribe to the Premium version. I like the fact that I can catch up with my “reading” by getting the gist of the book in the key points and being able to use that information right away. I can then buy the book if I want to get all the details behind the Blinks.
I am an affiliate for Blinkist because I use and love this product! My affiliate link will take you directly to the Blinkist page. You can try Blinkist FREE while you are deciding whether to subscribe for a Plus or Premium annual subscription.

General Nursing
As a nursing educator, I have relied on Lippincott Williams & Wilkins textbooks and Journals (e.g., Nursing2019, Critical Care Nursing Quarterly, Nurse Educator, JONA) for my students in my courses for nursing education, clinical nurse specialist education, evidence-based practice, change leadership, nursing research, and acute and critical care nursing.
Their Incredibly … series and Nursing Know-How handbooks are popular with students and practicing nurses.
I also use Springer textbooks for my nursing classes. My recommendations are in their respective sections. Springer Publishing Company
