My clinical nursing and teaching experiences span medical-surgical, newborn nursery, open heart, flight nursing, and the intensive care areas, and I maintained CCRN certification for 31 years. I enjoyed 30 years of service in the USAF Reserves, retiring as Colonel, all while teaching full time. I have loved various positions of leadership in the military and academic settings. My husband and I have three adult children and seven grandchildren. I love reading and writing, and entertaining family and friends. Most importantly, I love Him supremely! Favorite hymn, It is Well; favorite scripture, Philippians 4:4-9.
